Don't worry about them

you do you

PSA: Everyone’s journey to becoming a CPA looks different.

We should all know this. Nobody will have the same exact path as you. Don’t get caught up in comparisons and wishing for something else.

But more importantly, remember that all the advice people will give you is based on their unique experience. Which is different from yours.

Yes, listen to other people’s wisdom. But don’t live by it.

Some people have photographic memories, some people love studying late at night, and some people have super positive attitudes about the exam. Everyone is a combination of a million different things.

Trying to take the exact practices and schedules of someone else should not be your main strategy.

Take the principles and frameworks they used to become a CPA and bend them to your image.

Carve your own path using the wisdom of others, but don’t follow their path blindly.

And this goes for things I say too.

You will find the most success when you play to your strengths, not mine, your friend’s, your teacher’s, or anyone else’s.

Happy studying.

PS: Have an amazing weekend :)
