Hey everyone,

Over the past couple of years of talking with CPA candidates, I’ve noticed something interesting.

Most people studying for the CPA exam aren’t failing because they’re not smart enough.

They’re failing because they’re trying to memorize everything.

The CPA exam is just too big for that approach.

The people who pass tend to do something different:

They focus on understanding the big ideas first, and then they use practice questions to reinforce those ideas.

In other words, they focus on how the concepts connect, not just trying to cram thousands of details.

Once that clicks, the studying process usually gets a lot easier.

Anyway, just something I’ve noticed after seeing a lot of people go through the process.

If you’re currently studying, I’d be curious to hear:

Which section are you working on right now?

Reply and let me know.
