Ever feel like you study something… and then it’s just gone the next day?

That’s one of the most frustrating parts of the CPA process.

But it’s also completely normal.

Your brain doesn’t store information just because you saw it once.

It stores it when:

  • You try to recall it

  • You get it wrong

  • You see it again later

That’s why doing MCQs (and getting them wrong) is actually a good thing.

It forces your brain to engage.

It creates those “ohhh I remember this now” moments later on.

So instead of thinking:

“I forgot everything”

A better way to look at it is:

“I’m still building this into memory”

That shift matters.

Because a lot of people quit right here —
when things feel messy and unclear.

But that’s usually the point where real learning is starting.
