Hey—

I’ve been talking to a lot of CPA candidates lately, and there’s one thing I keep hearing:

“I feel like I’m behind.”

Behind on content.
Behind on studying.
Behind compared to other people.

But here’s the reality:

You’re probably not behind.

You’re just overwhelmed.

Most CPA courses throw everything at you:

  • Hundreds of lectures

  • Thousands of pages

  • Endless details

So even when you’re studying… it feels like you’re not making progress.

That’s the real problem.

Not effort. Not intelligence. Not discipline.

Just too much noise.

What actually works better (especially if you’re working full-time):

→ A clear daily plan
→ A focus on the important topics
→ Enough practice to make things click

That’s it.

You don’t need to do more.

You need to do the right things consistently.

If you’ve been feeling stuck, try simplifying your approach this week.

Cut the fluff. Focus on progress.

Talk soon,
Joey
